协会简介

马来西亚中文影视协会创办于2012年3月21日，旨在进一步发展中文影视工业，并与会员分享影视知识，以促进电视与电影的素质。

协会于2023年成立11年之际，将【马来西亚中文影视协会】易名为【马来西亚华人影视协会】。

这十年来，本地中文电影正一步步走向开创新天地的格局，当中不少华裔在影视行业更涉猎其他不同的语言，以配合现代趋势与业界需求。也正因如此，协会本着扮演重要桥梁的角色，决定易名，并将积极与外界联系，以便更好地推动本地影视业，让本地华人和海外其他业者达到交流。

接下来，协会将以全新面貌，扮演服务马来西亚影视同仁之角色，继续促进行内同业人之间的交流，同时将致力于协助并代表华人影视制作的伙伴们，寻找合作机会与资源。

About CFAM

CFAM was established on March 21, 2012, with the intention of developing the Chinese film and TV industry, as well as sharing resources with its members to raise the production standards.

Marking its 11th anniversary in 2023, the name of [Chinese Film Association of Malaysia] (𝘪𝘯 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘦) has been officially revised from “Chinese (𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘶𝘢𝘨𝘦)中文” to “Chinese (𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘯𝘪𝘤) 华人”.

Many local Chinese film and Malaysian filmmakers had initiated the productions to a new level in the past 10 years. Some have even entered the market in other languages due to the recent trend and industry demand. As a result, CFAM has decided to rebrand with the primary goal of connecting more local filmmakers and expanding the industry network internationally.

Moving forward, a new image will be taken in order to engage more like-minded industry players in CFAM, and most importantly to support the industry in exchanging valuable resources, expertise and collaboration opportunities.
